South Korea had a current account surplus of $8.96 billion in October, the Bank of Korea said on Wednesday.

That follows the $10.54 billion current account surplus in September.

The financial account saw a net outflow of $11.09 billion, up from the $10.54 billion net outflow in the previous month.

For the period of January through October, the current account surplus is $87.89 billion.
