Spain’s producer prices continued to fall in November but the pace of decline slowed from October, the statistical office INE reported Wednesday.
The producer price index slid 2.6 percent on a yearly basis after easing 3.6 percent each in September and October. Prices have been falling since July last year.
Excluding energy, producer prices fell only 0.2 percent from last year.
Energy prices plunged 9.4 percent annually and intermediate goods prices dropped 1.7 percent. Meanwhile, consumer goods prices rose 0.9 percent and capital goods by 1.1 percent.
Month-on-month, overall producer prices dropped 0.2 percent in November versus October’s 0.8 percent decrease.
