Sweden’s economy grew at the fastest pace in five years during the fourth quarter of 2015, data from Statistics Sweden showed Monday.

The seasonally adjusted gross domestic product grew 1.3 percent from the third quarter, when it rose 1 percent.

The latest growth was the fastest since the fourth quarter of 2010, when the economy grew 1.8 percent.

Investments, exports and imports increased in the fourth quarter and consumption grew modestly.

Year-on-year, GDP rose 4.5 percent in the fourth quarter following a 4.1 percent expansion in the previous three months.
