The Aston Martin DB9 GT ‘007’ James Bond Edition
The new Aston Martin DB9 GT Bond Edition is not quite the stunner that the official Jame Bond 007 DB10 as seen in the new film ‘Spectre’ is, but it comes with several Bond touches and Silver livery named after the ‘Spectre’ film.
Limited to just 150 examples worldwide, Aston Martin says the DB9 GT Bond Edition begins life as standard DB9 GT. A coat of Spectre Silver paint is sprayed, rubbed and polished. Next a set of 20-in black-painted wheels with diamond-turned accents, aluminum hood and fender vents, and a carbon-fiber splitter and diffuser.
The brake calipers are painted grey, and there are numbered door-sill plates with the famous Bond 007/Gun logo. The gun motif does not end there, more gun logos embroidered on the hump between the rear seats, there are no holsters fitted for 007’s Walther PPK automatic.
Under the bonnet a 540-hp V-12 is fitted, the same as with other DB9 GTs.
The Aston Martin Bond Edition car, comes fitted with Globe Trotter luggage, plus a Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra “James Bond Limited Edition” wristwatch to round out the swag.
The 007 Special Edition DB9 GT cost $237,007.00 + tax and license.
The new James Bond film opens in the US on 6 November.
Have a terrific week.
