GBP/CAD was the best trade
The newspaper headlines this week were all about Trump but the market-moving headlines were Theresa May and Stephen Poloz.
May laid out a Brexit plan and pledged to give Parliament a vote on the final trade deal with the EU. That sent the pound higher and it largely hung onto the gains despite a volatile week of trading.
