The oil driller Baker Hughes reported on Friday that the number of active U.S. oil rigs fell by 4 rigs to 328 last week. It was the lowest level since October 2009.
The number of gas rigs declined by 1 to 86.
Combined oil and gas rigs decreased by 5 to 415.
