Thousands Cheer Donald Trump At Dallas Event
Monday, in front of thousands of cheering supporter, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump called the United States “a dumping ground for the rest of the world” as he rallied his Texas supporters, and promised the Republican leaders he’s just getting tuning up.
The GOP front-runner decried “Anchor Babies” and gang members among the immigrants living in the US illegally, drawing huge ovations from an audience packed into Dallas’ American Airlines Center. The 20,000-capacity venue that was a sellout for Monday’s evening rally.
“You people are suffering,” Trump told the Texans. “I’m in New York, but they’re in New York, too. They’re all over the place.”
“It’s disgusting what’s happening to our country,” Mr. Trump continued as he called for more legal immigration.
Donald Trump has his presidential campaign from the very beginning on the Big Issues bothering Americans. He labeld many Mexican immigrants rapists and criminals in his June announcement speech. RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, and others, have asked Mr. Trump to soften his tone, he has refused.
The strategy play well among the GOP’s conservative voters. like those who filled the Dallas sports arena, yet could to hurt the party’s standing among some liberal voters in the general election.
Donald Trump’s popularity within his party is growing and growing. He holds a commanding lead in all of the polls.
“This is a movement that is happening,” he declared, confronting critics who think he’s not running a serious campaign. “Now it is time to really start, because this is going to happen, I’m telling you, I’m not going anywhere.” “Unless I win, it’s been a waste of time for me, folks,” he said, “I do not waste my time.”
Monday night’s crowd cheered, as they interrupted Mr. Trump repeatedly with applause.
The crowd cheered wildly when Mr. Trump bashed immigrants in the country illegally, the media, Republican operatives such as Karl Rove, and the energy levels of his rivals.
“I have tremendous energy,” Donald Trump said. “Tremendous. To a point where it’s almost ridiculous if you think about it.”
