Although using several different servers and sending hundreds of emails containing classified information didn't bother the FBI or DOJ enough to bring charges against Hillary Clinton, it bothered US House Speaker Paul Ryan.
House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan has officially asked that Hillary Clinton not receive any classified information during the election campaign, something Ryan believes would reassure the public that the nation's secrets will remain secure throughout the campaign. In a letter to Director of National Intelligence James Clapper on Wednesday, Ryan said that denying Clinton classified briefings during her run for the presidency would be an appropriate sanction for the improper handling of classified emails while secretary of state.

"Today I am writing to formally request that you refrain from providing any classified information to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the duration of her candidacy for president. This request is based on findings announced by FBI Director James Comey at a press conference on Tuesday, July 5"
"As a former vice presidential nominee, I am keenly aware that Secretary Clinton is set to begin receiving classified intelligence briefings after the Democratic National Convention. However, Director Comey stated that ‘this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions.’ Given the FBI’s findings, denying Secretary Clinton access to classified information certainly constitutes appropriate sanctions. This is necessary to reassure the public that our nation’s secrets are secure."

We suspect this request will be ignored based on the precedent already set by the FBI and DOJ not to take any action against Hillary. Again, there is a double standard whether the lowly public or Paul Ryan like it or not.
