As we observed yesterday, with the liberal media cannibalizing itself in the aftermath of the Trump victory culminating with a scathing indictiment by MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, leading to an unprecedented letter from NYT publisher Arthur Sulzberger in which he vowed the New York Times would “reflect” on its coverage of this year’s election, as it “rededicates” itself to reporting on “America and the world” honestly”, this morning president-elect Trump rubbed salt in the NYT’s wounds, when he blasted The New York Times in an Sunday morning tweet, targeting the paper’s coverage of the “Trump phenomenoa.”
Trump called the newspaper’s coverage “very poor” and “highly inaccurate.”
Wow, the @nytimes is losing thousands of subscribers because of their very poor and highly inaccurate coverage of the “Trump phenomena”

While Trump is set to tell “60 Minutes” in an interview airing Sunday evening that he would be restrained on Twitter as president, this tweet probably snuck through the crack.
This morning the Times’ web site is leading with an article entitled, “Trump Hires to Set Course of Presidency” in which the newspaper said his “inner circle includes a clash of visions.”
Today’s tweet culminates Trump’s recurring, frequent criticism of the NYT’s coverage of his campaign through the primaries and general election.
Defenders of the NYT used the Trump tweet to voice their support for the newspaper, saying they would renew their subscriptions for the media outlet which last quarter saw a nearly 20% plunge in ad revenue.
