The U.S. dollar came off from its previous lows against the other major currencies in European deals on Monday.
The greenback was trading at 1.4758 against the pound, off its previous low of 1.4815. The greenback is thus heading towards early 8-1/2-month high of 1.4693.
Reversing from an early 6-day low of 1.0946 against the euro, the greenback rose back to 1.0864. Further gains may help the greenback to pierce its early more than 3-week high of 1.0827.
The greenback bounced off to 1.0026 against the franc, just few pips away from its Asian session’s 4-week high of 1.0024. This may be compared to an early low of 0.9924.
The greenback reclaimed some of its lost ground against the yen, trading at 119.32, off its early 2-1/2-month low of 118.70.
