Donald Trump has done it again. He has won in all five primaries in yesterday’s election and firmed his bid to become Republican presidential nominee. On the Democratic side, Front runner Hilary Clinton has secured win in four states, while Sanders won one.

Republican Side –

  • Trump has won all 28 delegates of Connecticut, all 16 of Delaware and All 17 of Pennsylvania.
  • In Maryland, Trump has 35 delegates, 3 are yet to be allocated.
  • In Rhode Island, Trump won 9 delegates, Kasich won 5 and Cruz won 1. 4 delegates are yet to allocated.

With latest wins, Trump has 950 delegates, While Cruz has 560 and Kasich has 153. Now 622 delegates are still left to be grabbed, which means, Donald Trump is the only candidate, who may secure 1237 delegates, required for outright nominations.

Democratic side –

Numbers are still coming and as of latest Clinton has secured win in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Sanders won just Rhode Island.

With this win, Clinton is now sitting on 2141 delegates, compared to Sanders’ 1321 delegates. Bernie Sanders’ campaign is not mathematically dead but practically is.
