Ultra-luxury Hotel Palazzo Versace Dubai Opens
The hotel located adjacent to the Dubai Creek features 215 rooms and includes 169 rresidences
The luxurious hotel project Palazzo Versace Dubai, a joint venture project by Versace and Enshaa Group, has opened its doors, it was announced Tuesday.
The project was 1st announced in Y 2006 but has faced several delays.
Described as the “most luxurious hotel the Middle East has ever seen,” Palazzo Versace Dubai, located at the new Culture Village, will feature 215 opulent hotel rooms exclusively designed by artistic director Donatella Versace.
The interiors will feature ceilings hand-detailed in gold, marbles and mosaics while the external design will include Versace motifs such as the Medusa head and the Greek Key.
The grand lobby features a 1000 sqm marble mosaic floor, with bespoke furniture and textiles decorated with peacocks, falcons and horses.
In terms of food and beverage options, the Giardino will offer all-day dining while guests can also visit the Vanitas restaurant which is decorated like a classical Italian palace.
Offering views of the Dubai Creek, the Palazzo Versace Dubai will also include 169 decorated and furnished residences, ranging from 1 to 6 bedrooms.
Versace’s CEO Gian Giacomo Ferraris said: “Versace is a renowned fashion, luxury and lifestyle company. Since the very beginning we have encompassed many product categories from clothing to accessories, from luxury goods to the home collection.
This is the 2nd Palazzo hotel in the world. The 1st was built in Y 2000 in Gold Coast, Australia and the 3rd Palazzo hotel is slated to be built in Macau.
“In 2000, we pioneered the luxury fashion branded hotels opening the first Palazzo Versace Gold Coast, Australia and today we are proud to bring the ultimate Versace lifestyle in Dubai with the new hotel. The fine and luxurious designs by Versace will be present in every detail of the living environment, and luxury will become a lifestyle,” said Mr. Ferraris.
