US February housing starts and building permits
– Prior was 1246K (revised to 1251K)
– Starts up 3.0% after 1.9% decline previously
– Building permits 1213K vs 1268K expected
Starts and permits have been doing a zig-zag for a few months when one is good and the other misses and then it switches. Overall, the trend in both is higher. I believe there is a lot of upside in US housing to come.
