Wall Street indexes ended a tad lower on Friday, as oil prices turned lower by the end of the session, but as the commodity Wall Street indexes managed to post their second weekly gain in a row.
The DJIA fell 57.32 points, or 0.34%, to 16,639. The S&P 500 finished the day down by 3.68 points, or 0.19% at 1,948 but gained 1.6% over the week. The Nasdaq Composite rose 8.27 points, or 0.18%, to 4,590.
Across the globe, the Euro Stoxx 600 index rose 1.5% on Friday and closed 1.6% higher over the week. The Nikkei 225 gained 0.3% and was up 1.4% from a week earlier.
