The yields on the long duration and short duration treasury notes in the US advanced as equities embraced risk and investors eyed a 10-year note auction.
At the time of writing, 10-yr yield was up more than 4.5 bps at 1.88%. The 30-yr yield was up 4.7 bps as well. Meanwhile, the 2-yr yield, which mimics short-term rate hike bets, also traded 2 bps higher.
The Treasury holds its 10-year note auction today and will sell $12 billion of 30-year bonds on Thursday.
Risk sentiment stabilized today as markets expect the ECB to announce a big bazooka during its rate review scheduled tomorrow.
