Wall Street continues to stay cautious, as reflected by the trading in the U.S. index futures, which point to a lower opening on Tuesday. The sentiment in Asia was also cautious, with stocks in the region closing mixed. Notwithstanding a major M&A news in the telecom space and the euro’s weakness, the European markets are moving lower. The domestic markets are expected to keep a close eye on the retail sales data to gauge the economy’s strength and earnings from blue chips, including JP Morgan (JPM), Wells Fargo (WFC) and Johnson & Johnson (JNJ).
