Trading in the U.S. index futures suggests that Wall Street stocks may open Friday’s session on a cautious note. Thus far in the week, the major averages have ended higher in 3 out of the four sessions. The averages are also higher for the year and look set to finish the week on an upbeat note irrespective of what happens in today’s session. Global cues are positive, with Asian stocks closing mixed, while the European markets are hitting fresh 7-year highs. Given the recent run up, the domestic markets could prefer to tread cautiously, especially as there aren’t any major economic and corporate trading cues. Oil prices are retreating and are yet trading above the $50-a-barrel, while the dollar continues to be firmer.
