Global cues are negative, with Asian stocks closing mostly lower, with the Indonesian Jakarta Composite Index sliding over 3 percent. European stocks are also coming under selling pressure. Tame inflation data out of China has cast doubts on the economic recovery in China. Meanwhile, mixed earnings may also pressure stocks. Even as Intel reported forecast beating results, JP Morgan disappointed. The domestic markets may also focus on the retail sales report due ahead of the market open and a slew of bank earnings scheduled for the day, including that from Bank of America.
