Wall Street is sporting a cautious look on Tuesday after bargain hunting supported a rebound yesterday. The Santa Claus rally is eluding the markets, with the Dow Industrials and the S&P 500 Index still in the red for the year. Helped by oil’s upward bounce and Wall Street’s positive showing, Asian stocks closed mostly higher for the day, although the Japanese and Indian ended lower. The European markets are showing a lack of direction and are currently mixed. The dollar is weaker and most commodities are also lower, with the exception of oil. The domestic markets may also track economic data on existing home sales, house prices and third quarter GDP growth.
