Willie Robertson Declares, “I Like Donald Trump”
Earlier this Summer, the members of the ‘Duck Dynasty’ clan have said they endorsed their state’s governor, Bobby Jindal, for the GOP nomination, but Friday, Willie Robertson declared his love for a Yankee, Donald Trump.
Mr. Robertson joined Donald Trump at his rally at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City Friday evening, where he declared “I do like me some Trump, I gotta admit.
The reality TV star joined Mr. Trump on stage after he called him not with a duck caller, but with a microphone, telling him “Willie, where the hell is Willie? Get over here! Look at this guy! Willie, do you love Trump?”
Mr. Robertson told the crowd that he and the GOP frontrunner have a lot in common.
“Here’s the deal,” the bearded star said. “We are both successful businessmen. We both have pretty big shows on television. We both have wives that are 1,000 times better looking than us, so I like Trump.”
The Robertsons, whose A&E reality show not only showcases their family business, but their religious and family values, have been sought for endorsements by not only Gov. Jindal, but several other Republican campaigns.
The “Duck Dynasty” crew, whose successful reality television show about their family’s business, has now come in behind Donald Trump for the GOP Presidential nomination.
