The dollar was mostly higher on Monday in N.Y., though the euro got an early bump higher on hopes for a Greek deal. EUR-USD touched 1.1405 highs before settling back into 1.1340, as the market came to the realization that an agreement could still be a pipe-dream, with nothing concrete expected from the EU summit this evening. Elsewhere, USD-JPY found support into 123.00, though was capped into 123.40. Cable underperformed, settling into 1.5800, after failing to hold 1.5900 in London morning trade. USD-CAD traded up over 1.2320 as oil prices turned lower.
