The dollar was mostly higher through the N.Y. session on Monday, with some safe-haven flows into the greenback seen against the euro in particular, following the terror attacks in Paris. EUR-USD made its way under 1.0690 in afternoon trade, after peaking over 1.0740 early in the session. USD-JPY kept its overnight gains, adding marginally to them, and topping out at 123.26. USD-CAD meanwhile, posted new one-plus month highs of 1.3370, as WTI crude prices approached the $40/bbl market. As oil prices later rebounded over $41.50, USD-CAD eased back under 1.3340.
