The Japanese yen weakened against most major currencies in the pre-European session on Wednesday.
The yen fell to a 2-day low of 119.90 against the Swiss franc, from an early high of 119.56.
The yen dropped to 185.51 against the pound, from an early high of 185.13.
Against the U.S. and the Canadian dollars, the yen edged down to 123.14 and 92.08 from early highs of 122.82 and 91.91, respectively.
If the yen extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 121.00 against the franc, 188.00 against the pound, 124.00 against the greenback and 93.00 against the loonie.
