The Japanese yen retreated from early highs against the other major currencies in European deals on Thursday.
The yen was trading at 130.66 against the euro, 124.62 against the franc, 118.70 against the greenback and 177.18 against the pound, off early 3-day high of 130.16, 2-day high of 123.63 and multi-week highs of 118.32 and 176.47, respectively.
The yen reversed from early 6-day highs of 92.78 against the aussie, 95.06 against the loonie and 89.94 against the kiwi, easing back to 93.34, 95.47 and 90.69, respectively.
