Job vacancies in Austria grew notably in the three months ended November from a year ago, figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics showed Wednesday.

Total job advertisements surged 11.6 percent in trend terms in the three-month period to November, following a 6.6 percent rise in the corresponding period last year.

Quarter-on quarter, job vacancies rose 3.1 percent in the September to November period, slightly slower than the 3.2 percent increase in the previous three-month period.

On a seasonally adjusted basis, job vacancies climbed at a stable pace of 3.5 percent quarterly in the three months ended November.
