Bulgaria’s money supply growth accelerated in June, figures from the Bulgarian National Bank showed Thursday.

M3, the broad measure of money supply, rose 2.5 percent year-over-year in June, faster than May’s 1.0 percent climb.

Meanwhile, annual growth in the narrow measure, M1, eased to 11.5 percent in June from 14.4 percent in the preceding month.

At the same time, net foreign assets increased at a faster pace of 37.9 percent annually to BGN 38.8 billion in June, following a 35.9 percent hike in May.
