The Canadian dollar trimmed its early decline against its major rivals in European deals on Monday.

The loonie resumed gains to a 5-day high 1.3475 against the euro, off early low of 1.3570.

The loonie bounced off from its early lows of 98.72 against the yen, 1.2143 against the greenback and 0.9595 versus the aussie and was trading higher at 99.19, 1.2087 and 0.9553, respectively.
