The Canadian dollar came off from its early lows against the other major currencies in New York morning deals on Thursday.
The loonie rose to a weekly high of 1.3832 against the greenback, off its previous low of 1.3874.
The loonie bounced off to 87.01 against the yen, 1.5117 against the euro and 1.0049 against the aussie, reversing from its early lows of 86.71 and 1.5201, and a 2-day low of 1.0089, respectively.
