Conservative Street Artist Sabo Mock Obama & Abrams
Conservative street artist Sabo has released new posters targeting US President Barack Hussein Obama and film director J.J. Abrams.
The incendiary posters displayed in Brentwood, Pacific Palisades and Santa Monica, California take aim at the $33,400-per-person Roundtable discussion with Mr. Obama that Abrams and his wife are hosting at their home on 10 October.
The fundraising event will benefit the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Mr. Abrams is directing the new Star Wars film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Sabo’s posters show Messrs Obama and Abrams in compromising positions, with the headline “Presidential Circle Jerk.” He writes, “$33,400 per-jerk, everyone else prepare for traffic Oct. 10th.”
This is not the 1st time Sabo has created controversial artwork.
In December 2014 he created a fake Rolling Stones cover with Lena Dunham on it, alongside the headline “Rape Fantasies and Why We Perpetuate Them.” He also mocked Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Clinton’s efforts to fund raise in LA in June and protested the Iran nuclear accord in July.
This weekend Sabo is attending Politicon in Los Angeles and will appear on a panel that also includes Robbie Conal and Shepard Fairey.
The White House did not respond to requests for comment.
Stay tuned…
