Croatia’s consumer prices remained flat for the second straight month in June, figures from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics showed Wednesday.

The consumer price index showed no variations in June, same as in the previous month. In April, prices had fallen 0.1 percent.

Prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages rose 0.8 percent annually in June. At the same time, transport costs dipped by 4.4 percent and prices of clothing and footwear went down by 0.5 percent.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell 0.3 percent in June, reversing a 0.4 percent climb in May. It was the first decline in five months.
