Croatia’s industrial production growth slowed in August after accelerating in the previous month, figures from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics showed Tuesday.

Industrial production climbed a working-day-adjusted 2.8 percent year-over-year in August, but slower than the 3.9 percent gain in July. In June, production had risen 1.5 percent.

Production in the manufacturing sector grew 4.6 percent in August from a year ago and that for mining and quarrying rose by 5.4 percent.

On a monthly basis, industrial production declined a seasonally adjusted 4.1 percent in August, in contrast to a 3.5 percent increase in the preceding month.
