Denmark’s economy grew at a faster-than-expected pace in the final three months of 2014, latest figures from Statistics Denmark showed Tuesday.

The quarterly growth for the three months to December was revised to a seasonally adjusted 0.5 percent from 0.4 percent reported earlier. The economy grew for the sixth quarter running.

The growth figure for the third quarter was also revised higher to 0.6 percent from 0.5 percent. It was the fastest pace of growth since the third quarter of 2013, when the economy expanded 0.7 percent.

Th year-on-year growth for the fourth quarter was revised up to 1.5 percent from 1.3 percent.

Full year growth for 2014 was also revised higher to 1.1 percent from 1 percent.
