Donald Trump Prevails, GOP Establishment Goes “Nuts”

Donald Trump is the pent up reaction to the GOP establishment ignoring the concerns of The People.

And the fact is that Donald Trump is bringing in more people to the party, something that same establishment has failed to do over the past several years.

“The disconnect between the Republican Party establishment — and the Democrat establishment — and the people of this country is longer, broader, wider than I have ever seen it,” Rush Limbaugh said Sunday. “These people in the establishment have been telling us they’re the ones to fix everything, and everything they try to fix, they’ve botched: TARP, the recession fix, such as the stimulus.”

Mr. Limbaugh says Ted Cruz (TX) is the biggest conservative in the race, but that he is not worried about a Trump nomination.

“You deal with what you end up getting,” Mr. Limbaugh said. “You don’t win everything. And, ultimately, you have to take what you get.”

Mr. Limbaugh predicts that if the GOP does not succeed in defeating Donald Trump in the primary process it will attempt to do so at the convention.

“I mean, Mitt Romney has pretty much telegraphed that,” he said. “And, if that happens and there is a walkout. If that happens then you have got utter chaos.”

The Republican establishment will go Nuts.

However, Mr. Limbaugh expects “clear heads will prevail” and the “correct political enemy will be identified.

“I think it ends with a nominee. I actually think when we get down to this summer … I think we’re going to have support for the nominee,” he said, because everyone realizes it is the Democratic party “that is the most destructive force in this country. It is not one of these Republicans.”

The party may be “reconstituted and changed, and that’s not a bad thing either.”

On Senator Marco Rubio: Do not see him getting traction anywhere. When Marco Rubio won election he was a Tea Party darling. What happened? Gang of Eight. Whatever the reality is, the perception is that he went to Washington and threw in with the Establishment. He cannot recover from that, as he is now seen as the candidate the Republican Party and its donors decided to favor after Jeb failed them.

On Senator Ted Cruz: He had a strategy to lure the 4.5-M voters who sat out Y 2012 while allowing everyone else to vote the same as they did before. He is tailoring his message for a specific conservative Evangelical, his appeal is limited.

On Governor John Kasich: Like Donald Trump, Gov. Kasich Kasich is well equipped to attract newcomers. He is a conservative with conservative solutions, but there are a lot of rust belt Democrats who feel their party has deserted them. John Kasich could deliver them to a Trump/Kasich ticket, and beat the Democrat “statist” activist ticket of Hillary/Bernie.
