– Draghi says monetary policy working as expected
In a sense, ‘preserving’ sounds like the ECB will commit to endless QE but there is a stock vs flow argument there. If the ECB were to stop buying bonds, in a sense it would still be ‘preserving’ accommodation so long as it wasn’t selling the assets it owned.
