After the release of German consumer prices for April at 8:00 am ET Wednesday, the euro traded mixed against its major rivals. While the euro edged up against the franc, it changed little against the rest of major rivals.
The euro was trading at 1.0995 against the greenback, 1.0491 against the franc, 0.7159 against the pound and 131.15 against the yen around 8:04 am ET.
