The euro drifted higher against its major rivals in New York morning deals on Monday.

The euro spiked up to near a 2-week high of 131.17 against the yen, while approaching 1.1032 against the greenback, its strongest since March 26.

The euro reversed from an early low of 1.0440 against the Swiss franc, climbing to a 6-day high of 1.0481.

The single currency bounced to 0.7372 against the pound, off early low of 0.7347. Against the NZ dollar, the euro ticked up to a session’s high of 1.4509 from its 4-day low of 1.4416.

The euro hit a multi-week high of 1.4443 against the aussie, up from an early decline of 1.4349.

The euro rose back to 1.3736 against the loonie, from its previous low of 1.3668. The euro is thus nearing to break its early 6-day high of 1.3743.

If the euro extends gain, it may find resistance around 135.00 against the yen, 1.075 against the franc, 1.15 against the greenback, 0.75 against the pound, 1.40 against the loonie, 1.46 against the aussie and 1.50 against the kiwi.
