Fox’s Brett Baier has come under attack over the past couple of days after making comments on his show that his FBI sources confirmed they had an “avalanche of evidence” against the Clinton Foundation and that “barring obstruction they’d likely continue to push to try for an indictment.”
Well, apparently Baier has been exposed as just another covert Russian agent and has been forced to walk back his previous comments. Here’s what he had to say earlier on Fox:
“That just wasn’t inartful, it was a mistake, and for that I’m sorry. I should have said they will continue to build their case.”
“Indictment obviously is a very loaded word, Jon, especially in this atmosphere, and no one knows if there would or would not be an indictment no matter how strong investigators feel their evidence is.”
“[We] are working to get sources with knowledge of the details on the record and on camera, hopefully today.”
Here is what Baier previously said about a potential indictment:
I said sources described an “avalanche of evidence” in case & barring obstruction they’d likely continue 2 push to try for an indictment” https://t.co/2TjzxdJod1

And, of course, just the slightest hint of a rumor that might potentially impact the presidential race is enough to send Peso traders into full-on panic mode.
