Economy may have grown 1%
One theme that isn’t getting attention lately is the amount of blockbuster economic data that’s been coming out of Japan.
Nikkei reports, citing the Japan Center for Economic Research, that Japanese GDP grew 1% in April. I’m looking for details on the data, it might be an annualized rate, but I think it could be a m/m reading. If so, it’s likely to be one of the best increases in a long time.
