Learjet crashes at Teterboro airport in New Jersey
The jet was reportedly a Learjet 35 corporate aircraft en route from Philadelphia.
A statement from the FAA said the plane crashed on Runway 1 at 3:30 pm ET. The crash occurred a 1/4 mile from the airport in a residential area. No word yet on how many people on board. The plane can carry 8 passengers by typically carries less.
