Mexico’s unemployment rate held steady in August, data from the statistical office INEGI showed Monday.
The seasonally adjsuted jobless rate came in at 4.3 percent in August, the same rate as in the previous month. A year ago, the unemployment rate was 4.8 percent.
On an adjusted basis, the unemployment rate dropped slightly to 4.68 percent in August from 4.72 percent in the prior month.
