Dudley strikes an optimistic tone
New York Fed President William Dudley was in Mumbai today and spoke with reporters afterwards.
"We are pretty close to full employment," Dudley said. "Inflation is just a little bit below our target of 2%if you look at the underlying inflation trend, so clearly if the economy continues to grow above trend we are going to want to gradually remove monetary policy accommodation."

What’s notable is that he had an opportunity to damped rate hike expectations but remained optimistic, similar to most of his colleagues who have spoke in the past week.
