S&P 500 adds 8 points to yesterday’s 46-point surge
This is one of those times when the consolidation is as important as the break. It wouldn’t have been a big deal if the S&P 500 pulled back 5 or 10 points but instead it gained 8 points and finished at the highs of the day at 1986.
