– Sep ILO unemployment rate 4.8% vs 4.9% exp. Prior 4.9%
– Average weekly earnings 2.3% vs 2.4% exp 3m y/y. Prior 2.3%
Good news on unemployment dropping to the lowest since Q3 2005. The claimant count was the highest since May but it’s relatively small anyway.
