The pound strengthened against the U.S. dollar and the euro in European morning deals on Monday.
The pound edged up to 1.4288 against the greenback and 0.7594 against the euro, from its early lows of 1.4228 and 0.7614, respectively. The next possible resistance for the pound is seen around 1.44 against the greenback and 0.745 against the euro.
