The pound continued its early decline against the other major currencies in European deals on Thursday.
The pound fell to a 2-day low of 0.7318 against the euro, 1-week low of 1.4211 against the franc and a 3-day low of 176.76 against the yen, off early highs of 0.7252, 1.4336 and 177.73, respectively.
The pound pared gains to 1.4779 against the greenback, from a high of 1.4867 hit at 3:05 am ET.
The next possible support for the pound may be located around 1.46 against the greenback, 1.40 against the franc, 176.00 against the yen and 0.74 against the euro.
