Spain’s producer prices continued to decline in July, figures from the statistical office INE showed Tuesday.

Producer prices dropped 1.3 percent year-on-year, the same rate of fall as seen in June. Prices have been falling since last July.

Excluding energy, producer prices advanced 0.7 percent from last year. Prices had gained 0.7 percent each in May and June.

On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 0.1 percent in July, but slower than the 0.9 percent increase seen in June. This was the sixth consecutive rise in prices.
