The Swedish Krona climbed against the euro in European deals on Friday, after data showed that Sweden’s trade surplus improved in June.

Data from Statistics Sweden showed that Sweden’s trade surplus came in at SEK 8.4 billion in June, up from SEK 4.2 billion last year.

Exports rose to SEK 108.9 billion, while imports increased to SEK 100.5 billion.

The Swedish Krona that ended yesterday’s trading at 9.4084 against the euro rose to 9.3878. The Swedish currency is likely to find resistance around the 9.3 mark.
