The oil driller Baker Hughes reported on Friday that the number of active U.S. oil rigs fell by 3 rigs to 351 last week. It was the lowest level since November 2009.

The number of gas rigs remained unchanged at 89.

Combined oil and gas rigs decreased by 3 to 440.
