In advance of Julian Assange’s much anticipated press conference scheduled for 10:00 am CET tomorrow (4:00 am Eastern), when the Wikileaks founder is expected to reveal information which according to some could have a profound adverse impact on Hillary Clinton’s presidential candidacy…

… and which Assange himself built up in a June interview with Britain’s ITV when he said that “We have upcoming leaks in relation to Hillary Clinton”, adding that Wikileaks had accumulated a lot of material about Hillary Clinton with which the FBI “could proceed to an indictment”, there is just one thing Americans want to know about Hillary Clinton.

According To Google, the main search query in the past day is a simple one: “What could Wikileaks have on Clinton?

A drilldown into Hillary Clinton-specific Google Trends shows that virtually the only thing Americans are searching for as of this moment, has to do either with Julian Assange, Assange, or Wikileaks, with interest substantially surpassing the other tangential query of the day relating to “Bill Clinton’s son.”

One month ago, Assange once again stoked expectations, when he told Fox that “the most interesting and serious [disclosures] relate to upcoming publications we have“, which perhaps is why virtually everyone expects the announcement in less than 12 hours to relate to Hillary. To which there are two alternatives: Assange may not release anything at all having to do with the Democratic presidential candidate, or whatever he does disclose, ends up underwhelming.

As a reminder, while Assange had originally planned to deliver his announcement from the balcony of the Ecuador embassy in London where has bbeen holed up for years, he cancelled in the last minute over reported “security concerns.”

In any event, all eyes will be on Julian Assange, bright and early, at 4am Eastern time: make sure to set your alarms.
