FXStreet (Córdoba) – The Mexican peso is rising against the US dollar on Tuesday, approaching last week highs. USD/MXN bottomed ñlas tweek at 15.341 ,the lowest level since the beginning of the month and then it rose for two consecutive day.

Earlier today the pair peaked at 15.465, the strongest since last Thursday and then turned to the dowidne. It erased gains and after Wall Street opening bell printed a fresh daily low at 15.385.

Currently is hovering around 15.400 as traders await the FOMC decision and Yellen’s press conference. On Thursday Banxico minutes will be released and on Friday aggregate demand data in Mexico.

USD/MXN technical levels

To the downside, support levels might lie at 15.360, 15.340 and 15.240. On the opposite direction resistance could be located at 15.460, 15.528 and 15.600.
